Os prémios Emmy, da Academia de Televisão dos Estados Unidos, já foram entregues aos vencedores numa cerimónia em Los Angeles.

A liderar a corrida esteve a série "A Guerra dos Tronos", com 32 nomeações, seguida de "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", com 20.

Na lista de nomeações à 71.ª edição dos Emmy seguiam-se as séries Chernobyl, com 19, o programa de entretenimento 'Saturday Night Live', com 18, a série 'Barry', a minissérie 'Fosse/Verdon!', ambas com 17, e a minissérie 'When They See Us,' com 16 nomeações.

Os Emmy, devido ao número elevado de categorias, são habitualmente entregues em duas cerimónias. Os vencedores das categorias principais foram conhecidos hoje.
